Eggplant in oyster sauce with polenta bread |
Breakfast: Rolled oats with coconut, banana, sunflower seeds and flax seeds
Lunch: Eggplant in oyster sauce with polenta bread
Dinner: White beans in tomato mustard sauce with polenta dumplings
Baking/sweets:
I made the polenta bread using a new method. It was an experiment that turned out fairly OK. I cooked polenta first in lots of water, cooled it down, added flour and baking powder and baked it. I will give this a few more trial runs before posting the recipe. I previously posted a recipe for a simple yeast free polenta bread here. The recipe I already posted uses raw polenta, so the bread turns out crispier and drier. I like it but it is probably not everyones cup of tea.

This should make food bloggers smile. British intelligence agents managed to hack into the extremist Inspire magazine, replacing its bombmaking instructions with a recipe for cupcakes. The spy agency has a new message for terrorists: make cupcakes, not war. The article did not say which cupcake recipe was posted, neither did it discuss the outcome. I wonder if any of the target audience actually made the cupcakes, whether intentionally because they have a sweet tooth, or by mistake without realizing it was for a different kind of bomb. Excess consumption of the cupcake bomb can be suicidal, potentially.
Yes! Cupcakes instead of bombs! The world would be a peaceful place...
