Toscanatårta, lemon white chocolate and Ruhlman's peameal bacon


Today's Food Diary
Breakfast: Rolled oats with kiwifruit and linseeds
Baking/sweets: Toscanatårta (I think), oats sweets

I didn’t take any photo of my meals today but I did take a photo of my backyard yesterday. The weather has been great – sunny with lots of snow.

The minicake/pastry I had was perhaps a toscanatårta. It seems to be different from a Tuscan cake. The cake was quite dense, made with almond flour, topped with slivered almonds and soaked in caramel. Really delicious and I presume it is not so difficult to make.
