Kyrgyz chicken plov |
Breakfast: Missed
Baking/sweets: oat sweets etc
It has been a long while since I last made Kyrgyz Chicken Plov. It is a fairly simple dish with meat and carrots as the key ingredients. Preparation is relatively simple, however making the dish to meet a Kyrgyz person’s expectations is another story. The recipe is available here.

Simply recipes has a simple recipe for chicken paprikash. I don’t know whether I have had a deprived childhood, teenagehood and adulthood but I have never tried chicken paprikash before. I only heard of it recently and it was a relief to see this recipe. The recipe looks really simple and uses basic ingredients. And what I find most interesting is that the amounts of chicken and onion required is almost the same. I intend to make this in the foreseeable future.
The only time I've heard of paprikash wa in the movie When Harry Met Sally.

I personally love salted duck eggs with tomatoes. It also works with boiled chicken eggs mixed with patis. I totally also grew up eating the salad with rice! It's delicious.
