I made red curry pork after a very long time. I like to cook the curry on low heat for a long time so that the meat is melt in the mouth tender and the sauce has a very thick consistency. The only vegetables I like to add are onions and bamboo shoots. Unfortunately today the onions were lonely since there was no bamboo shoots in my pantry.

Real Age has a very interesting article titled “can side salads make you fat?” A study was done where participants were shown pictures of high-calorie main dishes, like hamburgers and meatball-pepperoni cheesesteak sandwiches. The participants were asked to guess the number of calories the food contained. When the main meal was pictured with a healthy side dish the participants estimated that the meal had about 43 calories less.
Curry is always a favorite of mine and i bet your slow-cooked version is amazing.
