Peanut Oat Cookies |
These cookies are light and crispy, with added crunch from peanuts. Whole
or chopped peanuts are used instead of peanut butter, which gives it a distinct
crunch and a stronger peanut flavor. The recipe is available here.

A chicken corsage? This is weird but true. It is
not April fools day.
The girl looks happy, sort of. We can safely
assume that she is not a vegetarian. And the guy must have a hard time trying
to look into her eyes, and get his attention away from the fried chicken.
KFC’s fried chicken corsage, an edible fashion
accessory, features one golden drumstick along with a wreath of sweet-smelling
baby's breath flowers. KFC suggests that its crispy 'Chicken Corsage' should be
used by high school students to ask their sweetheart to prom. 'Love can be
awkward,' it states in its YouTube video description. 'Make it less awkward by
surprising your date with a corsage that will make her eyes light up and her
mouth water.'
The corsage costs $20. And it gets better. The
chicken drumstick is not included but each order comes with a $5 KFC gift
receipt.
What is surprising is that almost 40 have been
sold already. Only 100 limited-edition
chicken corsages are available.
It takes a genius to come up with such
innovative ideas. Einstein's reputation as one of the leading geniuses is now
being challenged.
Lovely peanut cookies. I was relieved to see a bit of the third one behind ;-)
ReplyDeleteAre you sure the KFC decoration is not a joke?
The third one was camera shy:)
DeleteThat KFC corsage is real. Its a pity its not available in your city, I know you would have loved to wear one of those everyday. The best fashion accessory ever.
