Today's Food Diary
Breakfast: Rolled oats with bananas, sunflower and linseeds
Lunch: Ribs, baked wholemeal mantou and vege's
Dinner: Blackbean, tomato and onion soup
Baking: Cinnamon buns

I was at the supermarket during lunch and could not resist buying grilled pork ribs. It was really cheap, had good meat to bone ratio and nicely seasoned and cooked. The meal kept me full till dinner.

To keep the ribs company I made baked mantou. I steamed leftover wholemeal dough while the oven was warming up and then baked it. The end result was pretty good - chewy moist mantou interior and browned crispy exterior - best of both worlds.

Pictures and short descriptions of the Hungryboy's eating adventure in the US. Did you know you can buy deep fried peanuts without shells removed, and they say you can eat the shells. I am not sure if this is lazy, an attempt to save energy or sheer innovation but there are some innovations that I prefer to only read about:) Have you tried deep fried peanuts?
