Double chocolate, flank steak and eggplant jam

Today's Food Diary
Breakfast: Rolled oats with sultanas, toasted coconut and linseeds
Lunch: Spicy Eggplant and blackbean chickpea stew with chilli polenta
Dinner: Spinach rice

The double chocolate coffee daim cookies were excellent, as always. And I made extra dough which is waiting in the freezer, and my mind is also there!

Eggplant Jam? This is one of the more unusual dishes I have come across in a while. I can imagine jams being made with sweet vegetables such as carrot, onion and beetroot but I never thought of having eggplant jam with toast for breakfast, or eggplant jam and peanut butter slice. According to wiki, eggplant jam can be found in North African, Greece and Morocco. Both sweet and savoury versions exist.

I thought the eggplant and blue cheese spread and eggplant liver was pretty innovative dishes but the jam has extended the boundary.
