I don’t know whether this is ingenious, practical or just bizarre.

The Easy Fit cutlery set from Firebox combines cutlery and dumbbells. The knife and fork weight 1kg each while the spoon weights 2kg. Therefore the more you eat the more you exercise. So instead of going to the gym you simply stay home and eat. I don’t know whether this will make you eat more to get more exercise done, or eat less to avoid painful arms and extra calories. Or maybe a compromise, avoid using the spoon?

At £89.99 for a set you certainly would want to make the most of it. Or maybe not, like some gym memberships.

  2. I'll leave the dumbbells to the dumbbells. They'll have biceps to match the size of their tummies.

    1. You mean biceps and 6 pack:)
Thats probably a likely outcome - bigger arms and stomach

  3. Oh my gosh, these red velvet minis look sooooo good! I think if I use dumbbell cutlery, I will definitely eat slower (so I'll be full), and it might possibly discourage me to eat a lot... =D I want to give it a try!

  5. Mexican sausage sounds very good, but I still have to taste it.
The cutlery is a good trap for gadgets freaks :-) Even if it gives muscles it probably muscles only the palms and not the arms, which are usually most important... (It also doesn't look very beautiful on the table, a bit like plumber's tools ;-) )

    1. No it doesn't look beautiful, and its dangerous to have if there is a fight! Or if it falls on your feet.
There should be some strain/exercise on the arms as well. And back exercise in case you drop it:)

  6. Love those little cakes! I don't think I could quite handle the cutlery - do you think it would work off any calories?? - No, I didn't think do :)

  8. omg are you serious about the dumbbell cutlery?! that's really taking the idea of making one work for his food a bit far isnt it! haha i think weighted frying spatulas would be quite brilliant too.

  9. What they really need to invent is cutlery that makes you abs, hips and thighs move.
